Lawn growth depends on nutrients or essential elements absorbed by roots from the soil. When natural soil processes do not provide adequate supplies of these essential elements, fertilizer can be applied to maintain optimum turfgrass growth. The purpose of fertilizing a lawn is to add the necessary nutrients in the required amounts and at the proper time to achieve desirable lawn qualities.

The Complete Xpert Lawn Application Process:

• Our first Xpert application consists of pre-emergent crabgrass control.
• Additional Xpert recommended service: Pest control for common early spring pests such as Ants, Centipedes, and Spiders.

Late Spring

• Our second Xpert application is fertilization. In addition, treatment for crabgrass, and broadleaf weed control
• Additional Xpert recommended service: Pest control for common late spring pests such as Ants, Bees/Wasps, Mosquitos.

Summer

• Our third Xpert application consists of a balanced slow-release fertilizer. We will also continue spot-treatment for broadleaf weed control as needed.
• Additional Xpert recommended service: Pest control for common summer pests such as Ants, Bees/Wasps, Mosquitos.

Late Summer

• Our fourth Xpert application consists of a season fertilizer. We will also continue spot-treatment for broadleaf weed control as needed.
• Additional Xpert recommended service: Pest control for common late summer pests such as: Bees/Wasps, Fleas, Mosquitos.

Early Fall

• Our fifth Xpert application consists of a slow-released fertilizer designed to replenish nutrients from summer stress. This treatment will also include weed control.
• Additional Xpert recommended service: Pest control for common early fall pests such as Bees/Wasps, Fleas, Japanese Beetles, Mice, Spiders.

Late Fall

• Our last Xpert application consists of a complete seasonal fertilizer that is designed to strengthen the root system. We will also continue treatment for weed control as needed.
